John Hagan

Executive Advisor

Mr. Hagan is an accomplished consultant and subject matter expert in Six Sigma, Lean and Quality. He has led these initiatives in several large multinational corporations producing over $900 million in direct savings with uncounted indirect benefits.

Mr. Hagan is a mechanical engineer from Montana State. He began his professional career with 3M in a series of manufacturing and product development positions. In 1995, he joined AlliedSignal as a Blackbelt in a new program called Six Sigma and became a firm believer in a disciplined approach to process improvement. He advanced to Master Blackbelt and then VP of Quality, Six Sigma and Lean and for the Automotive Sector of AlliedSignal.

Mr. Hagan spent several years as a master consultant with Sigma Breakthrough Technologies. He has worked with many companies in deployment of Six Sigma, including American Standard, Trane, Samsung, Great Lakes Chemical, Entergy, 3M, Iomega, and Maytag. He has trained over 2500 people and developed new materials for Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, Transactional Six Sigma, and Lean Sigma.

Mr. Hagan joined Trane in 2001 after consulting with them for several years on their Six Sigma deployment. He held a variety of roles including Global VP of Quality and Six Sigma, Global Process and Productivity Leader and Global Quality Leader. He completed the Wharton Executive Leadership program while at Trane.
